The boys woke up about eleven and went to Antonio’s family room where they found the two girls watching Mighty Mouse cartoons.

“You two are up early,” Bryant said sleepy.

            “No, you guys are just up late,” Jasmine replied.

“What are you talking about?”

            “Dude, Bryant look at the clock it’s almost noon.”

“Oh well get to get some sleep sometime. I’m going to the bathroom.”

            “No one is stopping you,” Alex said laughing.

A few seconds after Bryant went to the bathroom everyone heard him, “what the heck did you guys to do me!”

            Bryant came running out and looked at Alex. “What did you do to me,” he said yelling, “Buck, Jason, Dominique, you guys didn’t tell me?”

“No, of course not that is hilarious,” Dominique said laughing sitting on the couch by Jasmine.

            He came back mad as ever only to find no one there but Alex.

“Where’d everyone go?”

            “Dunno. They said they had to go work on something.”

“Who did that to me this morning anyhow?”

            “You ask a lot of questions. But, it was me. Jasmine took the pictures.”

“You guys have pictures,” Bryant groaned.

            “Sure do,” Alex said not taking her eyes off of Charmed on the television.

“What’s this show about? Never heard of it.”           

            “Really? Good show. It’s about witches and white lighters.”

“What are they?”

            “That’s right. You guys don’t know about things like that.”

“I know kind of but I would rather watch fishing.”

            “So go fish.”

“What about you? Where’d everyone go? You’re normally with Jasmine.”

            “Not right now.”

“Well obviously. So why are you here alone?”

            “Because everyone else went to work on something else so I stayed back.”

“Okay. Hey did you know Jasmine likes Dominique?”

            “You serious,” Bryant said amazed.

“Yeah, you couldn’t tell.”

            “I heard that Cole likes her too,” Bryant said.

“Really? Cole Njord? The jock who never shuts up?”

            “Yeah that one. There is something I’ve been meaning to ask you.”

“Yeah what?”

            “Would you like to do a fortune game,” he said pulling out one.

“Back off Bryant. Jasmine and I found that in our desk.”

            “You sound a little defensive compared to you didn’t write it.”

“Because you’re blaming me for something I never did!”

            “C’mon Alex just play,” he was saying as she stormed out of the room.

“I don’t get it,” Bryant said being the only one left.

            Alex ran outside to the garage where everyone was watching Dominique and Buck beat Antonio and Jason at S.W.A.T.

“Bryant’s really starting to annoy me,” Alex said joining Jasmine sitting on a 4-wheeler, “he tried to blame me for that fortune thing.”

            “Dude, we didn’t do anything,” Jasmine replied.

“Do what,” Dominique asked.

            “Nothing,” the two answered together.

“Write notes to each other in Science class,” Bryant said walking up behind them.

            “C’mon Jasmine let’s go for a walk,” Alex said quickly pulling Jasmine out the door.

“Dang Bryant, you really must have made her angry,” Antonio said watching the television screen.

            Outside Alex and Jasmine were walking along the gravel road as Alex explained what happened in family room just a few minutes earlier.

“I can’t believe your friends with him Jasmine. He is so mean and cruel.”
            “Don’t cruel and mean kind of mean the same thing? Also were talking about Bryant right?”

“I don’t know and yes I was talking about the jerk.”

            “Okay what did he say about Cole Njord anyhow?”

“Cole, the jock who never leaves us alone, likes you,” Alex started.

            “Yeah? Did you know Bryant and Daniel Janus like you?”

“That’s not cool.”

            “So it’s the cold hard truth. Let’s head back I’m bored.”

They went back and found the boys still glued to the television screen.

            “Hey guys what are we going to do? We haven’t been home all weekend and I’m sure our parents are wondering,” Jasmine went on.

“Your parents are with mine and they went to Georay to do something or other,” Alex said.

“I didn’t know your parents were going with mine.”

            “Yeah. I’m supposed to be here at Antonio’s and you’re supposed to be at Alex’s right,” Dominique asked.

“And my parents are out tonight,” Alex said.

            “Were at my house,” Antonio said getting his two bits in.

“We are just wandering around,” Buck said to Jason.

            “Okay were settled happy now paranoid,” Bryant asked.

“Oh shut up Bryant. Where are you supposed to be then, huh,” Jasmine asked.

            “Somewhere, sometime.”

“Okay I guess we have that all figured out, now what?”

            “Dunno. Let’s play some more S.W.A.T,” Dominique said.

They played games while the girls sat back and watched until they all went to their desired locations.
